Duck Rice!

Heard of Lim Seng Lee Duck Rice?

If you haven't, let me tell you more. This eating house offers a menu which has remained unchanged. So if you are looking for some simple comfort food, you don't have to rack your brains going through a long menu. Ever since it's opening, the quality of food has remained consistently good. The meat is amazingly tender and the sauce compliments it perfectly. Best of all, it is not oily at all! Its one of the few nice boneless duck rice i've ever tried.

You'll always see me saying a BIG "NO" to fast food
as I dislike eating fried+oily food I find them fattening :/ But there's this particular fast food
that I've been always craving for!!! :D
Its perfect, mouth-watering& it will keep you coming back for more.

Besides chicken, there's also other variety like
seafood and such for you to choose from
!***

Their fries are unique tasting,
something really different :D
*THUMBS UP*

It is seasoned with seaweed, sea salt and chili flakes

***

You can choose from the 2 flavour given:
1) Soy garlic
2)Hot

For me,I would prefer the soy garlic as
it's fragrant&rather sweet!
The meat is tender and moist
What I love the most is that,it's crispy and flavourful and it doesn't feel greasy
compared to most of the other fast-food outlet I find out there.

All the meal comes with fries&a drink :)

Pastamania!

I'm sure everyone has heard of pastamnia, its EVERYWHERE! Drool over these delicious pasta!

Pastamania offers a varity of choices, ranging from pasta to pizza. Their pizza comprises of fresh ingredients and it is relatively enjoyable from time to time. Be sure to try it!

Having dined in pastamania numerous times, I'll always end up missing it. I would say that the pasta they offer isnt all high quality, but its good for its cheap pasta kick. Their combination of garlic bread and pasta is a unique experience. Not only is it filling, it makes you come back for more. It's a great meal to have after a long day of shopping.

Ajisen Ramen

Ajisen Ramen is the perfect stop for those in love with noodle products. High quality springy noodles are one of their trademarks. They offer a variety of choices, ranging from pork to seafood ramen. Moreover, they are relatively well known for their spicy ramen! Be sure to try it out!

Not only do they offer ramen, but there are similar choices available. Check out Tsukemen! Its a type of noodles that requires you to dip it in soup, enhancing its taste (its in the promotions link).

In my opinion, their ramen is extremely tasty. Well, i would recommend their Volcano ramen to people who enjoy spice! Besides, their pork curry ramen is my favourite. It's a simply delicious combination, coupled with a side dish of chicken wings. Their side dishes are numerous, I've yet to try them all!

Like Subway? TRY QUIZNOS!

Quiznos is a huge sandwich chain from America. In love with sandwiches?
Give it a shot!

Its very different from subway!

Zesty Grilled Steak!

The HoneyBourbon Chicken!

The price range of quiznos sandwiches are a little pricy, ranging from $8 to $10. But, it offers a unique taste and experience. Do remember to make it a foot-long sandwich!

Personally, i feel that it's worth the money. Not just the high quality ingredients, but the combination is brilliant. A full flavor of ingredients and specially imported bread help preserves the 'american' taste, which would be unique to many. I highly recommend it to every reader, a MUST TRY!

something like ribena! :)

Iced Berry Tea
$5.90

***

Would you like to taste something flowery?

Rose Tea (Warm)

***

The well roasted potato wedges are redeeming.
The crispy outer does justice to the surprisingly firm insides, which are not too moist,
as compared to wedges typical of other fare

My friend never fail to miss this out when she's there!

$4.90

***

German Sausage with potato wedges and salad
$7.50

The dish is served with plain cabbage salad with typical mayonnaise,
of which i felt, deserved better.
The sausage were of the highlights, and certainly worthy of its spotlight.
The well grilled sausage skin starts the mouthful with a exciting and fragrant
taste of perfectly golden browned pork.
As you get to the centre of the sausage,
the full volume richness of tender pork meat pleasantly fills the mouth.

Chloe here!

I've been always on the hunt for the best beef noodle in Singapore,& guess what,I've arrived to the best discovery thus far.

***

Our star of the day with the generous portions of beef and gravy.

A variation of the typical beef noodle soup, this rich-flavored signature dish of the stall draws long queue with its memorable beefiness firmly extending across the gravy and noodles. The thick consistency of the gravy further accentuates the richness, bringing to the table a marvelous must have to all beef lovers.

***

Another well-known dish from the stall! The dry shrimp brings out the flavour of the soup! The coconut compliments without over powering it.

***

The pricing will be $3 for the small bowl,$4 for the medium bowl&$5 for the large bowl.

***

& just to remind you,the queue is worth the wait!

River Quay Seafood @ Boat Quay

It's Chloe here!

Anyway,it's my friend,Glenn's birthday today! :) So my friends&I decided to have dinner at one of the seafood restaurant along the Boat Quay shop house. We heard from our friends that the food there are affordable for students like us and they serve fresh seafood. Apart from that, another reason why we chose that place was cause we get to dine by the river!! :D

***
It's their appetizers,Koropok dipped with chilli

4/6 stars

***
Sambal Kangkong

Vegetables were very crunchy and the sambal was not too spicy but still provided the taste of it.
Highly recommend people who have not tired this signature dish to just dig right into it.
There will definitely be no regrets

5/6 stars!

***
Black Pepper Fish with green pepper, chilli&onion

The sliced fish were fresh but I personally feel that they can do without that much pepper as the pepper taste overpowered the "freshness" of the fish.
Overall,still a delightfully experience.

4.5/6 stars

***
Pineapple fried rice with chicken floss

Rice could afford more taste, thought it can hold its own.
Rice is not too moist, very easy to entice the next spoon after each
Generous mix of seafood and fruits
Quite a delight to have as one large portion for one with big appetite

4.5/6 stars

***
Butter Squid with chilli padi

The batter used for the squid is not too dry but rather pleasant tasting. It does not leave a weird aftertaste.

5/6 stars

***
Fried Lemon Chicken

To me, this felt like the best dish of the night.
The chicken was fried to perfection and yet it was not too oily.
The first bite was heavenly.
I was instantly tempted to bite into it once more, the chicken is tender and not too sour.
The balance was just right.

6/6 stars

***
Hot plate Beef with spring onion

The beef was succulent and tender , i loved every bite of it.
One of the recommended dishes from this shop.

6/6 Stars!

***

We did enjoyed our meal there!
The service there was excellent! :D

&the best thing that ended our day,
was got to see the beautiful FIREWORKS without having to squeeze with the crowd!
